Biography
Matthew Rusniak est le prochain député de Lac-Saint-Louis et un fervent défenseur d’un Canada plus sûr et plus prospère. Candidat aux élections fédérales de 2025 avec le Parti conservateur du Canada, Matthew s’est engagé à réduire les impôts, à rétablir la sécurité publique et à soutenir des politiques qui donnent du pouvoir aux familles, aux entreprises et aux générations futures.
Diplômé de la John Molson School of Business, leader du gouvernement étudiant, homme d’affaires, entrepreneur montréalais, deux fois champion national de Muay Thai et leader communautaire, Matt a passé sa vie à faire preuve de résilience, de leadership et de service. Dès son plus jeune âge, il a excellé dans les études, obtenant la deuxième meilleure note au Québec à l’examen provincial d’histoire en 10e année – il est un fervent étudiant de l’histoire tout au long de sa vie. Il a ensuite obtenu un diplôme avec mention en marketing de l’Université Concordia, où il a été vice-président du marketing pour le John Molson Sustainable Business Group, compétiteur CASE et leader actif du gouvernement étudiant, tout en s’entraînant et en se produisant en tant qu’athlète professionnel de MMA.
Depuis plus de 15 ans, Matt a entraîné et encadré des milliers de personnes par le biais des arts martiaux, leur inculquant la discipline, les techniques d’autodéfense et la résilience personnelle. Fervent défenseur de peines plus sévères pour les crimes contre les femmes et les enfants, Matt se passionne pour rendre le Lac-Saint-Louis et le Canada plus sûrs pour tous.
Au-delà de l’athlétisme et de la politique, Matthew fait partie de l’équipe fondatrice de VLVT, une plateforme technologique soutenue par NEXT AI, lauréate de la Coupe Dobson de McGill, qui allie psychologie et technologie pour améliorer les relations et l’intelligence sociale. Fervent partisan de la croissance économique et de l’innovation, il défend des politiques favorables aux entreprises afin d’attirer les investissements et les progrès technologiques au Canada.
