Un engagement de toute une vie au service de la population
Homme d’action et de conviction, Claude Dussault a consacré sa carrière de plus de 30 ans à défendre les droits des citoyens et à améliorer les services publics, tout en veillant à une gestion rigoureuse des finances publiques. De ses débuts comme expert en sécurité routière, où il a contribué à l’adoption de mesures ayant sauvé des vies, jusqu’à son rôle de vice-protecteur du citoyen, où il a veillé à l’équité et l’intégrité des services publics ainsi qu’à leur efficience, Claude Dussault a toujours été du côté des gens. Gérer des équipes, analyser les enjeux, optimiser les ressources et trouver des solutions durables : voilà ce qui l’anime depuis toujours.
Également homme de terrain et de dialogue, il a su, au fil des ans, bâtir des ponts entre les citoyens et l’État, notamment en assurant un traitement juste et efficace des plaintes. Il croit fermement que des services publics de qualité passent par une gestion responsable des budgets, afin que chaque dollar investi serve réellement à améliorer la vie des citoyens.
Un homme engagé dans son comté
Résident du comté de Louis-Hébert depuis près de 25 ans, son leadership, il l’a aussi mis au service de sa communauté. Il a notamment agi comme président de l’Association de soccer mineur de Sillery, puis comme assistant-entraineur et gérant d’équipe dans l’arrondissement Ste-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge.
Une solide formation
Avec une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) de l’Université Laval et un baccalauréat en psychologie de l’Université de Montréal, il combine une solide compréhension des enjeux humains, organisationnels et financiers.
