I’m an archaeologist, grew up in Sackville NB, and live in Port Elgin. My father was an active supporter of the local NDP since we moved here in 1970. For the past twenty years I’ve been very active in the co-operative and labour movements and in the NDP’s sister organizations in England - the Labour Party and Co-operative Party.

I'm a registered director of two small community co-ops, and an elected director of a large retail co-op that runs co-op food stores.

I’ve organized and spoken at conferences and events, published blog articles, and written up recent policy papers on Housing, Education, Heritage, and Equality and Human Rights issues. Thanks to a few years’ experience working in the National Health Service, I’m a strong advocate for health and social care provision.
