Biography
Godwin Ezizor is a highly skilled and purpose-driven professional with over 20 years of multifaceted experience spanning from Oil and Gas, engineering, leadership, ministry, and cross-cultural engagement. Renowned for his dynamic leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills, Godwin is a catalyst for transformation in every environment he steps into. His career reflects a consistent track record of optimizing processes, driving operational excellence, and inspiring teams toward impactful results.
With a strong foundation in operations, engineering, and ministry, Godwin has excelled in diverse roles where he consistently improved efficiency, ensured safety and quality standards, and fostered strong collaborative relationships. His areas of expertise include operations management, risk assessment, team development, health and safety compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Academically accomplished, Godwin holds diplomas in Electrical Engineering from the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Nigeria, and in Power Engineering (Distinction) from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada. He earned a First Class Honours degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, UK, and a Master’s degree in Christian Ministries from Briercrest Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan. He is also a certified Second-Class Power Engineer in Saskatchewan.
Currently, Godwin is furthering his mission as a doctoral student in the Doctor of Ministry program at Liberty University, specializing in Evangelism and Church Planting. He also serves faithfully as Lead Pastor at the Full Gospel International Assembly in Moose Jaw, SK where his passion for faith, leadership, and community impact continues to flourish.
A global citizen with a heart for service, Godwin has traveled to over 22 countries on mission trips, gaining deep cross-cultural insight and sharing hope across continents. He is deeply committed to family, faith, and community. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending quality time with his family, and watching soccer.
Reason for running
The People’s Party of Canada brings together common sense, populism, classical conservatism, and libertarianism to create solutions adapted for the challenges of the 21st century. Our beliefs are succinctly summarized in our four founding principles: Freedom, Responsibility, Fairness and Respect. These principles guide and inform the policies of the People’s Party.
My mission is to offer Canadians a real principled alternative to the corrupt establishment parties, which rely on pandering and vote-buying schemes to further their interests and those of lobbyists, rather than those of the people.
We envision a bright future where the government puts Canadians first, instead of trying to please other countries and global organizations. Where politicians and bureaucrats get out of your way rather than trying to control the economy and every aspect of your life. Where our country is united in pursuit of common goals instead of being divided by identity politics.
